Our Chö damarus are hand made in Nepal and blessed by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. Each is constructed with high quality acacia wood, buffalo skin, and brocade selected by senior lamas at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery. The required daka and dakini mantras are hand-written inside are according to Chokling Tersar tradition by the same lamas. The damaru comes with a brocade tail and cover.
The unity of compassion and wisdom encapsulates the essence of the Buddhadharma. In the Vajrayana, representations of this unity are skillfully depicted in traditional practice articles, such as the vajra, damaru, and bell. This drum is specifically used during the practice of Chö, or Severance.
