Afghanistan Lapis Lazuli Mala

This mala is excellent for Medicine Buddha practice.

So long as ignorance, attachment, and aversion exist within our mindstreams, we will inevitably experience sickness and the endless miseries of saṃsāric existence.

The following is a supplication to the Medicine Buddha:

I beseech you, Blessed Medicine Guru,
Whose sky-colored, holy body of lapis lazuli
Signifies omniscient wisdom and compassion
As vast as limitless space,
Please grant me your blessings.

108 beads of 8 mm diameter, with Trikaya guru beads. White bead (conch shell) symbolizes Nirmanakaya, red (carnelian stone) Sambhogakaya, blue (lapis lazuli) Dharmakaya. The mala has a sliding knot to make it tighter or looser.

Approximate length 39.5 in, 2.6 oz.
